Aus dem RTT erhält man Impuls- und Drehimpulsbilanz für Strömungen.
Impulssatz:
\[ \sum \vec{F} = \frac{\partial}{\partial t}\int_{CV} \rho \vec{v}\, dV + \int_{A} \rho \vec{v}\, (\vec{v}\cdot\vec{n})\, dA \]
Drallsatz:
